‘Spot’ is a spectacular Black Leopard who is undeniably eye catching and also carries some of the best Warmblood bloodlines there is to offer. Unfortunately he never got to compete due to a injury as a yearling making him unsound. However we believe with his outstanding bloodlines, superb nature and wonderful movement he will make a super sire for the future. He has a 50% Chance of throwing his colour.

The Knabstrupper is a warmblood breed that originated in Denmark, using influence from spotted horses throughout Europe and it became the favoured horse of the Danish royal family and nobility.

The Knabstrupper is much prized for its performance ability, intelligence and willing nature. In Europe, their flashy exterior, athleticism, calm nature and keen intelligence make them ideal for tough competitive disciplines as well as for the circus, where athletic feats are coupled with an uncompromising need for a calm, brave and trainable nature. They’ve been extremely well represented in Paralympic dressage, where they embody the grace, strength and movement that discipline requires while remaining level headed.

Spot’s sire, ‘Sartor’s Supermodel was imported from Denmark in 2015. His pedigree includes the best of the modern Knabstrupper breeding for dressage, jumping and all-round performance and his temperament is second to none. His sire Sartor’s Showtime is performing FEI level dressage in Europe under Olympic dressage rider Victoria Max- Theurer and his progeny are showjumping up to 1.35m. ‘Sartor’s Showtime’ is by the incredible Oldenberg stallion Sir Donnerhall. Showtime combines the dressage talent of the Sandro Hit Oldenburg stallion Sir Donnerhall with the best of Knabstrupper performance breeding.

Spot is out of the beautiful black mare Tulara First Lady who is by the sensational dressage stallion Furstenball. Fürstenball’s was a stunning champion stallion at the Oldenburger licensing in 2008, who sold for the record price of EUR 110,000 as a foal at auction. Fürstenball’s performances at the Oldenburg licensing showed off his absolutely incredible willingness, strong nerves and relaxed temperament. His Sire, Fürst Heinrich, was the impressive 2003 winner of the World Championship of Five Year Old Dressage Horses. Maternal grandsire, Donnerhall, is without doubt an excellent stallion, and the dam’s Tierce bloodline consistently produces successful horses, such as the champion stallion in Oldenburg in 2007, Sieger Hit, top-class broodmares and successful advanced level dressage horses. Fürstenball’s dam, Maradonna, also produced an approved stallion by Dimaggio. This famous dam line, which was founded by breeder Georg Sieverding, with dam, granddam and great-granddam being state premium mares with elite status, leads to our assumption that this stallion will pass on his outstanding genes to his offspring. Furstenball has gone on to become a solid competition horse and is well renowned as one of the finest progenitors available today.
