Latin has a very modern conformation and impresses with his elegance and his energetic and supple paces. He has an exceptional walk and canter and his three paces have a lot of rhythm and his temperament is exemplary, he is naturally calm with a first class character.
Latin has had 13 starts in dressage winning 6 tests and placing in top 3 in the other 6 with scores up to 78%. He was imported from Germany and is a registered Hanoverian. He is full licensing and approved by AWHA.
His sire Lehmann was a premium hanoverian licensed stallion, he went on to win the 5yo Bundeschampionate qualifier. He is currently competing Grand Prix dressage in Europe. Lehmann’s sire Londonderry was born for success. He was the sovereign winner of the stallion licensing in 1997. One year later, the very high quality son of 2006 Hanoverian Stallion of the Year, Lauries Crusador xx, was fifth at the stallion performance test, achieving 134.56 points in the dressage category. In 1999 the captivating State stallion convincingly won the riding horse performance test during the German Riding Championships in Verden and only a short time later he obtained highest results at the Federal Championships of German Riding Horses in Warendorf as well.
Latins Sires dam sire Argentinus is a trademark stallion still bursting with energy. His son, Arko ESI, brought 130,000 Euro, making him the most expensive warmblood foal ever sold at an auction in Germany. A full brother of this price record breaker, Arko III, was the most successful show jumper in the world twice under Nick Skelton. But Argentinus’ many other internationally successful off-spring results show why he remains such a popular sire. Anka, under Marcus Ehning, won the competition in Spangenberg and took home a ribbon from Geneva. Nations Cup winner Asti Spumanti under Thomal Mühlbauer had another great SJ season. The list of Argentinus’ achievements during the course of his long career is long – Champion Stallion in Oldenburg, Stallion of the Year in Hanover – but the statistics on his internationally successful off-spring show the true dimensions of his greatness. Special Ed, for example, participated in the World Equestrian Games in Aachen under Jill Henslewood. In spite of their enormous talent for jumping,
Latins dam is By legend Furst Heinrich who won his 30 day Stallion Test at Munster. In 2003 he became World Young Horse Champion, at the 2005 Westfalian pre selection for auction where 19 Furst Heinrich offsprings were presented and seven were accepted for the licensing. At the 2005 Westfalian Elite Foal Auction, Furstenhit (Furst Heinrich x Sandro Hit) became the price highlight foal selling for 32,000 euro.
